Generally leaving the bus at 6 a.m. The time was very early morning but we enjoyed the beautiful morning in Haridwar and we were so excited to move on our trek. We all 2 trekkers carried our backpack dry fruits and also water.

“Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world.” Gustav Flaubert
We reached Ukhimath at near about the evening because of road construction and jam on the route. It took a long time and we were very tired. We started to find a hotel or room stay. Luckily we found a good room stay at Ukhimath. I can’t explain the view of Ukhimath, It was amazing. We visited the road of Gupta Kashi and the Omkareshwar Temple.
After taking bath we take some tea and snakes and capture some awesome moments of nature. Like road trail, sunset, and peaks. We enjoyed the scenic beauty and the calm environment of the mountains.
At evening time we heard “Sandha Arti” from Omkareshwar Temple, it was 7 p.m, so we decided to visit there and participate in the prayer. We reached the temple in just 15 minutes walks away at the temple. The voice of the prayer was very clum and peaceful, like a meditation. We spent some time at the temple after that then we were going to the little market to buy some fruits for our upcoming trek.
The unforgettable moment was dinner time, you can’t imagine how happy we were. We had completed our dinner in the rooftop of our hotel at the top with stars and full moon night and Himalayan range in front of us and Down the beauty of the city. Don’t you think it was so romantic?
After that, all of us got out for walking for a while and after that, we were going to sleep at night.
Next day from Ukhimath
Next Day at early morning we discussed with a very car driver how to go Ransi, he was very kind, he guided us and with just 200 rupees per person, we reached Ransi village. The village was very small but clean, full of nature and peaceful people. Then we took breakfast and ready to start our trek. The road from Ukhimath to Ransi about 35 km, took 1 and a half hours by car. From Ransi village we were going to start our trek.
When we reached the village we were surprised that people were giving us so much respect and we just love them. They gave us a warm welcome by saying- “Namaste, How are you?” People in the village were very well educated and kind. This is the reason we always prefer to go to the hills because they know how Mother Nature important for us and how to respect her.
So, at last, we were at Ransi. We started out 1st-day trek at 9 a.m.
This is our memory before start our unforgettable trek. So we will share our journey in the next part. We will update our next article asap. Stay tuned with us.
